Dutch Oven Ribs

My favorite way to cook ribs is low and slow with smoke on a bbq grill. But if you want to try something different, cooking ribs in a dutch oven might be a good method to try.

Dutch Oven Ribs

Total time: 2 hours 30 mins
Ingredients
  • 1 can of cola
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp of dry rib rub (Lawrys, or your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp of worchestsire sauce
  • 1 cup of baby rays bbq sauce
Instructions
  1. Take 1 slab of ribs and the remove skin.
  2. Rub the ribs with the rib rub
  3. Place the ribs in the dutch oven.
  4. Put the onions and worcestshire sauce on top
  5. Pour 1/2 of can of cola, over top
  6. Cook for about 2 hours on about 15-17 hot briquettes, and about 10 hot briquetts on top. Take the ribs out smother with bbq sauce and barbeque on the grill for 15 min.
