		<description>John, I don&#039;t usually boil them first, but I have cooked them in a microwave for a period of time, just to shorten the time on the grill.  How long you need to cook them on the grill depends a lot of how hot your grill is, where you have the potatoes, and even how big the wedges are.  So I usually use the taste test with one of the medium sized wedges.  I would say that I grill them for about 5-7 minutes on one side, 5-7 minutes on another, and then break one in half and test it.  If it isn&#039;t done, then turn them again and cook for 5-7 minutes more and then taste test again.</description>
