    Hello,
I am new to dutch oven cooking. In fact I recieved one for my birthday last week and it is still int he box, going to season it soon. I have been checking out the recipies and am getting ideas. I read the recipie for the Mountain Man Breakfast Hash and wondered if anyone has ever substituted Pancake Batter for the Eggs. I have a Cub Scout den and they always choose pancakes over eggs, just wondering if it would work.
    Thanks,
    Bill

    1. Bill, good question! I’ve never heard of anyone trying that so not sure how that would come out. If you try it, let us know how it turns out.

We recently bought a camp oven that we are excited about learning to use. We were directed to your site and told that we could find recipes for the camp oven. Not sure if I’m missing where those recipes are at. So far all I can find are grilling and dutch oven recipes.
Help–please let me know where to find recipes for the camp oven.
    Thanks,
    Keith

    1. Keith,
I’m not sure what camp oven you bought. As you mentioned, I have plenty of recipes for dutch ovens, but nothing for a camp oven. Can you give me more information? Perhaps I can help you out.

    +1

    1. Bill,
Thanks for question–I have never heard of anyone doing that, so don’t know how it would turn out. If you try it, let me know if you liked it or not (and more importantly, did the Cub Scouts like it!)

  3. But there are a few tips in order to get that ideal crunch and taste.

Deep frying wings has always been the manner in which most people will cook them, yet what
a lot of people do not fully understand is that you can
make them lots of different ways. Essentially the most important
portion of frying fish is making it possible for the oil to reach
the best temperature prior to including the
    fish.

  4. Do you do product reviews by any chance?

I would love to introduce you to SHOOAWAY, a child & pet safe, chemical free, battery operated, table top device that “keeps flies, bees, wasps and gnats completely away from your food table!

THE GENIUS OF SHOOAWAY is like no other patented product in the world today. Intuitively, Shooaway has strategically integrated the science of holographic imagery on top of its soft, rotating blades. When started up, Shooaway’s rotating blades continuously refract and display large clusters of blinking colored lights that are constantly bending unnaturally and jumping from one blade to another. Though humans cannot see them, to flies & bees, with their compound eyes, the light show appears so bizarre and unconventional it goes against their nature and presents an immediate danger. Shooaway’s light show brilliantly scares the wholly dickens out of flies, wasps, gnats and bees; out of sheer terror and fear, they will not come anywhere near your food table!

Shooaways are fast becoming popular in KOAs. We believe they should be in all camp stores and RV stores!

I would love to send you one for your review and your comments would be appreciated!
